The unique colored of Tuvalu was issued in 2010 to commemorate 150 years from the birthday of the classic Russian writer Anton Chekhov. The collectible piece is made of .999 rate silver and has the denomination of 1 dollar. The picturesque series depicting the famous Russian playwright has one more wonderful piece. The reverse of the coin has the colored portrait of Chekhov on its half and the other half is given for the relief image related to one of his plays called “The Seagull”. The reliefs of two masks hint on the theatre, which Chekhov wrote famous plays for. The relief of seagulls is shown on the upper part of the reverse. The obverse of the collectible bears the effigy of the British monarch surrounded by the name of the country and the year of issue. The face value of the piece is indicated here along the rim too.
