Mickey Mouse was created by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks. He made his first public appearance in the short film “Steamboat Willie,” which premiered on November 18, 1928. This marked the beginning of Mickey’s journey as a beloved and iconic cartoon character.
Over the years, Mickey’s design has undergone some changes while still retaining his recognizable characteristics. In his early years, Mickey had round black eyes with white pupils, a more angular body shape, and a mischievous personality. This colorized design captures an early rendition of Mickey’s appearance with black fur, a white face, white gloves, and red shorts.
